**First of all: Please be advised that we are located in the HEART OF DOWNTOWN NEWPORT, it can be noisy! Please think about that before booking. We have reviews complaining about being noisy, even after leaving this note here. It is unfair. Remember, it's Downtown Newport. The neighborhood is full of restaurants, cafes, shops, pubs, arcade for kids, and much more. Walking distance to everything downtown. The highlight of this neighborhood for us are the Wharfs right down the street! We are only 5 minutes away from the mansions (driving), the famous Cliff Walk and Easton's Beach. It's a 15-20 walk to the Mansions, Cliff Walk and Easton's Beach.

Guest Access

You will have full access to this apartment along with the washer and dryer on the second floor! Guests only need to bring their own laundry detergent. -We provide 1 parking pass for 1 car to park in the parking lot across the street from our apartment. -Summer season in Newport: Pay by plate parking and/or Paid public parking lots. -Winter season in Newport: Free Parking (street and public parking). From Nov 1 to April 30. **Please pay attention to parking details, we provide ONLY 1 parking pass.

Quiet time after 11:00PM. Parties/Confetti strictly prohibited. We have a maintenance and cleaning crew always ready if our guests need anything throughout their stay! Recommendations and ideas of things to do on our guidebook in the profile and also on IG as @theanchorental. Non-smoking place. No pets allowed. Free washer/dryer in building on the second floor, but we DO NOT provide laundry detergent, guests must bring their own laundry supplies. DID YOU LEAVE SOMETHING BEHIND? No worries, we can mail back to your address. Our service fee: $15.00 (plus post office price for handling) Easton's Beach, located on Memorial Boulevard at the start of the Cliff Walk, is a 3/4 mile long surf beach with a board walk. Come relax and play in our beautiful white sand ocean beach- surf the waves, ride our beautiful 1950's carousel, visit Save the Bay Exploration Center and Aquarium, or get married in a gorgeous beach front ceremony and celebrate in our newly refurbished ballroom. Rosie's Beach Store carries daily rentals of beach chairs, boogie boards and umbrellas during the peak summer season. They also carry some of those items you may have forgotten....sunscreen, towels, buckets and pails! Seasonal public facilities include restrooms, indoor and outdoor showers, shade pavilion, playground, skate park, picnic and grill area, bike racks, first aid, carousel, an elevator and beach wheel chairs for persons with disabilities, snack bar and 2 public parking lots.

You can get to most of the places (if not all) without your car. Everything is walking distance from our apartment. The neighborhood has restaurants, pharmacy, grocery store, cafes, souvenir stores, liquor stores, etc. -Summer season in Newport: Pay by plate parking and/or Paid public parking lots. -Winter season in Newport: Free Parking (street and public parking). From Nov 1 to April 30. -We provide 1 parking pass for 1 car to park in the parking lot across the street from our apartment. **Please pay attention to parking details, we provide ONLY 1 parking pass. Another option for the 2nd car during the summer is the Mary St. Lot behind the building ($25/$30 overnight).
